**Volunteer Fundraiser Position**
**Position Overview:**
Differently Abled Entertainment (DAE) is seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a volunteer fundraiser. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our events and programs by assisting in raising funds through various channels, including online campaigns, grants, sponsorships, and donations. **Responsibilities:**
1. **Fundraising Strategy:**
   - Collaborate with the fundraising team to develop and implement fundraising strategies and campaigns aligned with DAE's goals and objectives.
   - Research and identify potential sources of funding, including grants, corporate sponsorships, and individual donors.
   - Assist in creating fundraising materials, such as solicitation letters, sponsorship packages, and online appeals.
2. **Online Campaigns:**
   - Plan and execute online fundraising campaigns using platforms such as crowdfunding websites, social media, and email marketing.
   - Create engaging content, including written appeals, videos, and graphics, to attract and motivate supporters to donate.
   - Monitor campaign performance and track donations, providing regular updates to the fundraising team and stakeholders.
3. **Grant Writing and Research:**
   - Research grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and other grant-making organizations that align with DAE's mission and programs.
   - Assist in writing grant proposals, grant applications, and supporting documents, ensuring compliance with grant guidelines and requirements.
   - Maintain organized records of grant applications, deadlines, and outcomes for future reference and reporting purposes.
4. **Donor Cultivation and Stewardship:**
   - Cultivate relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and other supporters through personalized communication and stewardship efforts.
   - Acknowledge and thank donors promptly and appropriately for their contributions, showing appreciation for their support of DAE's mission and programs.
   - Provide donors with regular updates on the impact of their contributions and opportunities to engage with DAE's events and initiatives.
**Qualifications:**
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire donors and supporters.
- Excellent writing skills, with experience in writing fundraising appeals, grant proposals, or similar documents.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented approach to fundraising.
- Familiarity with online fundraising platforms, social media marketing, and donor management software is preferred but not required.
- Commitment to the mission and values of Differently Abled Entertainment (DAE).
**Time Commitment:**
